Angel Cervantes aka Acer Vantes is an electronic music DJ/producer, born in Chicago, IL. He has set his sights on becoming a DJ/producer of electronic dance music after attending events that relates to the genre. His influences have been drawn by the styles of Deadmau5, Adventure Club, Excision, Seven Lions, and many more! While he had no desire to be a clone of these monsters of music, he was destined to make his own mark. From playing at local parties to opening for big names, Acer Vantes is working his way on making a name for himself.

“Music has been around me since I was a little child. My parents would put on music in the car and I would start singing and dancing to it. I joined a choir and performed in a marching and concert band throughout my grade school and high school years. But it wasn’t until 2011 when music really changed my whole life. I attended my first concert with my two older brothers. Tiesto was the headliner at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City. I was so amazed by the scenery: the music, the lighting, the energy, and the smiles on everyone’s faces. That concert made my whole entire night. Days after, I started browsing and listening to more and more electronic music that I was really enjoying and I began to play around with Garageband on a Macbook Pro. That was when I knew what I wanted to do. Like all performing artists, I want to be part of the scene, perform on stage, and put smiles on everyone’s faces through music. I chose to become a DJ and an electronic music producer under the name “Acer Vantes”
